  • SCAF Dues Required (Resident Referees): $100/year valid 1/1/xxxx thru 12/31/xxxx (calendar year)
  • Registration required by completing and submitting online registration form usually when registering for a clinic
  • Referees required to have NASO Insurance or equivalent
IN ADDITION:

USWP - per Season:

  • Referees must attend and successfully complete a USWP Clinic (FINA,ASUA exempt)
  • Referees must register with United States Water Polo
  • Referees must follow Assignment Protocol 
  • Guest Referees: SCAF encourages referees from other zones to officiate at SOPAC USWP Sanctioned events, especially during high volume competition weekends. Guest referees must follow all above listed requirements, except that SCAF dues are not required unless they either temporarily relocate or referee more than 3 weekends in the SOPAC Zone.

NCAA / NISCA ... per Season:

  • Referees must complete 1 NCAA Men's and 1 NCAA Women's Clinic
  • Area fees and assignor's fees are required, set by each local chapter of SCAF
  • Referees must complete series of NISCA Mini-Clinics during boys' and girls' seasons (Total of 6, standardized, given in each Area Chapter of SCAF)
