Writing a Report

Officials write a report when the following incidents occur:
 
  • – Red Card
  • – Misconduct
  • – Flagrant Misconduct
  • – Spectator Ejection

 

Remember: It is crucial you note all necessary details – no more, no less. Take a picture of the scoresheet which should have full names for everyone. Please see your rule book for details on making the right call or ask your area board for more assistance. 

 

Examples:

Correct: During the second quarter, a player on the white team swung with a close fist and made contact with the defense. A flagrant misconduct was called and the player was removed from the game immediately. 

Incorrect: He swung. A misconduct was called.
