Hello everyone
Happy April Fool’s Day. I hope you have some fun……
A few items:
1. Election: Congratulations to our new Vice President, Scott Voltz. Scott moves over from the at-large position. The SCAF Board will approve a new at-large member soon. A candidate has been identified for this position. The positions of President, Senior Programs Chair, and Treasurer remain the same.
2. Website: a big “Thank you” to Caitlyn Eno who has been working to update our website for us and bring it into the 21 Century :). Please feel free to take a look and see the updates. She will soon be adding a list of all of the past SCAF Presidents to the site. She is also able to post photos of cool ref stuff as well. I forwarded her a picture of an original SCAF Officials patch from waaaayyyyyy back in the day. If you have any cool ref photos, feel free to email them to her and we’ll see if we can get them up on the web page.
3. Registration: The SCAF BOD will be meeting soon to get registration up and running for the 2024-2025 seasons. Please keep an eye open for an email from Tiffany Spiritosanto, our membership chair.
4. New Rules: CIF has met with the NFHS rules committee regarding potential rule changes for the 2024-2026 high school seasons. I promise that when we are given these new rules, we will pass them on to you as quick as possible. We will hopefully get them in time to integrate them into our HS summer leagues.
